In a statement in the house today, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu stated that it is with deep sorrow that I inform this esteemed House of the passing of Mr. Gaurav Bisht, Senior Correspondent of Hindustan Times, who passed away on August 28, 2024, at the age of approximately 50. Mr. Bisht was born on November 16, 1974. His untimely demise marks a great loss to the field of journalism. This House expresses profound grief over his passing.
Additionally, it is with sadness that I report the death of Mr. Anand Bodh, Senior Assistant Editor at the Times of India, who passed away on July 7, 2024, at the age of approximately 50. Mr. Bodh was born on October 16, 1974. His dedication and excellence in journalism will be remembered with respect and admiration. This House also mourns his loss deeply.
Furthermore, we regret to announce the passing of Mr. Vipin Kala, Senior Correspondent at Amar Ujala, on June 15, 2024, at the age of approximately 58. Mr. Kala was born on September 18, 1966. His contributions to journalism were marked by dedication and hard work. This House extends its heartfelt condolences on his demise.
