Banjar Bodybuilders Shine at State-Level Championship in Sundernagar.

In a remarkable display of strength and dedication, bodybuilders from Banjar’s Muscular Planet Gym (Kullu) brought home top honors at the state-level bodybuilding competition held in Sundernagar, Mandi district, yesterday. The prestigious event was organized by the Body Building Association and witnessed participation from top athletes across Himachal Pradesh.

Daksh Sharma led the charge by clinching the gold medal in the 75-80 kg weight category, improving upon his performance from last year where he secured bronze. Yudhveer followed with an impressive win in the 65-70 kg category, also earning a gold medal. Meanwhile, Boby added to the team’s medal tally by securing a bronze in the 55-60 kg category.

The victorious athletes credited their success to their coach Munish Rahi and trainer Minesh Thakur. They also expressed heartfelt gratitude to their families, gym mates, and supporters. The athletes also acknowledged bodybuilding icon Hary Sharma, a nine-time Mr. Himachal, for his continued inspiration.

Speaking on the occasion, the winners emphasized the importance of regularly hosting such competitions to promote bodybuilding and encourage youth participation in fitness and sports.
