Senior Congress leaders have already accepted their defeat in the upcoming elections: says BJP state spokesman Ajay Rana.
Shimla:
BJP state spokesman Ajay Rana said that now the senior most leaders of the Congress and ministers in the government have themselves admitted that the Congress candidates are going to lose in the upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly by-elections in Himachal.
“Recently a Congress leader said that the government will remain stable even if not a single Congress candidate wins, which clearly means that the Congress leaders themselves have already conceded their defeat”, said Rana.
“At first, the Congress Party did not find candidates too field in the elections and when the candidates were declared, they seemed more weak” said Rana.
Rana said that today the people of state were asking the state government, where it spent Rs. 25,000 crore loan, which it took in the last 16 months. Rs 4300 crore money came from the central government for Railway expansion, where was this amount spent? Apart from this, Rs 1782 crores were given by the central government under the disaster relief fund to Himachal, where this money spent, he asked.
“Efforts are being made to stop the development works like Shivdham and airport in Mandi by the state government” he said.
