JNV Pandoh Alumni Association Donates Rs, 2.51 Lakh to CM Relief Fund for Mandi Disaster Victims.

In a heartfelt gesture of solidarity, the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) Pandoh Alumni Association has donated Rs. 2,51,000 to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to aid disaster rehabilitation in the Seraj and Dharampur regions of Mandi district, recently hit by devastating cloudbursts.

A delegation led by association president Sandeep Sharma, a senior Indian Forest Service officer, formally handed over the cheque to Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu in Shimla. The contribution aims to support families affected by natural calamities in their home district.

Vice President and Media Advisor Flying Officer Dr. Chaman Lal Kranti Singh shared that several alumni have also reached affected areas with direct relief materials.

General Secretary Dr. Sachin Thakur, a lecturer in Physics, highlighted the association’s ongoing educational and humanitarian initiatives. Recognized nationally as one of the most active alumni bodies, the group has already assisted over 20 students with financial aid exceeding Rs. 30 lakh.

The delegation also included Finance Secretary Veer Singh Bharti and member Sanjay Kumar. The association affirmed its commitment to extend further assistance if needed.
