MP Kangana Ranaut Releases First Installment of Rs. 73.77 Lakh for Development Projects in Lahaul–Spiti.

In a significant boost to ongoing development efforts in Lahaul–Spiti district, the Member of Parliament from Mandi, Kangana Ranaut, has released the first installment of Rs. 73.77 lakh from her MP Local Area Development Fund (MPLAD). The allocation marks the beginning of a series of planned investments aimed at accelerating infrastructure and public welfare projects in the remote Himalayan district.

Earlier, during a joint visit to the region, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju had approved a massive fund of Rs. 250 crore to support various developmental schemes in the district. This major financial commitment, along with the newly released MPLAD installment, is expected to significantly enhance road connectivity, public amenities, and essential services across Lahaul–Spiti.

Former MLA of Lahaul–Spiti and current member of the Himachal Pradesh BJP Executive Committee, Ravi Thakur, expressed heartfelt gratitude to both the Union Minister and the MP. He acknowledged their dedicated efforts and assured that these funds would help materialize several long-pending developmental initiatives.

Thakur also stated that MP Kangana Ranaut has assured continued support in the future, promising timely release of funds to ensure uninterrupted progress in the district’s development.

He conveyed his sincere appreciation to both leaders for their commitment to the region’s growth and welfare.
